The meeting highlighted the strong bilateral ties between the two countries, with both sides
discussing ways to strengthen collaboration, particularly in the trade and tourism sectors, which
are supported by deep-rooted historical and cultural connections between the two peoples.
Ou Boqian expressed her sincere gratitude to Sheikh Ammar for the warm welcome and
hospitality.
She also praised the strategic partnership between the UAE and China, and commended the
significant progress and development witnessed in Ajman, especially in the tourism and
economic fields.
Several officials attended the meeting.
Separately, Sheikh Ammar received Jean Christophe Paris, Consul General of the French
Republic in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, at the Ruler’s Court.
Sheikh Ammar welcomed the French Consul General and discussed the strong and long-
standing relations between the UAE and France, as well as ways to enhance cooperation
across various fields.
The discussions focused on expanding strategic collaboration in key sectors, building on the
solid foundations of friendship and shared aspirations for progress and prosperity in both
countries.
The French Consul General and the accompanying delegation expressed their sincere
appreciation to Sheikh Ammar for the generous hospitality and warm reception.
The French delegation praised Ajman’s ongoing development and highlighted the emirate’s
growing potential as a hub for business success across all sectors.
The meeting was attended by several Sheikhs and officials.
Recently, Sheikh Ammar visited the UAE Pavilion at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Japan, which is being
held from April 13 to October 13, 2025, under the theme “Designing Future Society for Our
Lives.”
