Secretary General of the

Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai,

on UAE Flag Day 2023

Dubai, 2 November 2023:

On the occasion of the UAE Flag Day, we come together to celebrate our national flag, which
symbolises the UAE’s sovereignty and unity. As we commemorate this special day, we take great

pride in the remarkable achievements of the UAE since the formation of the union.

The UAE Flag Day holds great national significance as it provides a unique opportunity to reaffirm
our profound pride in our nation and our unwavering loyalty to our wise leadership. On this

occasion, people gather to celebrate the UAE’s flag and take profound pride in our nation’s
sovereignty. This day serves as a reminder of the remarkable national accomplishments and

progress achieved to date, reaffirming our commitment to upholding the values established by
our founding fathers, who laid the foundation for a developed and prosperous future firmly rooted
in our national identity and principles.

As our nation commemorates this momentous occasion, we, at the Supreme Legislation

Committee in the Emirate of Dubai, extend our heartfelt congratulations to our wise leadership.
On the UAE Flag Day, we celebrate alongside our fellow UAE nationals and residents.

Furthermore, we, at the SLC, reaffirm our commitment to contributing to the UAE national
development drive and championing its flag by establishing a robust forward-looking legislative

system that looks ahead to the future and contributes to the realisation of its ambitious vision.
