Dr. Mansoor added that under the guidance of Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and
board members, HBMSU seeks to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global leader in AI-powered education.
The initiative is seen as a game changer that transforms academic tasks into smart, fast processes. It
enhances both faculty and learner experiences, supported by advanced agentic AI technology.
The initiative aims to:
Enhance the academic role of faculty members
Streamline academic tasks to allow more time for research and supervision
Personalize learning experiences and curricula for students
HBMSU reported that the system has reduced content development time by 85% and cut faculty workload
by 95%. It also improved mastery by 40%. The platform lowers the cost of designing and producing courses
and boosts research and development efforts.
The AI agent performs several tasks, including course content development, exam generation, and
performance analysis. It also suggests strategies for learner support and assistance.
The platform was developed entirely in Dubai to meet international standards. It was led by Maitha Al-
Tunaiji, Vice Chancellor of HBMSU for Artificial Intelligence and Technology. HBMSU revealed that the
ecosystem follows professional ethics standards for AI use, focusing on privacy, bias reduction,
transparency, and accessibility compliance.
