Dubai Courts Acting President Reviews Progress of Judicial and
Legal Studies Program for Judicial Trainees
H.E. Judge Abdulqader Mousa Mohammed, Acting President of Dubai Courts for Judicial Affairs, visited the Dubai Judicial Institute
(DJI) to review the progress of the “Judicial and Legal Studies Program for Judicial Trainees.” The visit aimed to evaluate the program’s role
in preparing the next generation of judicial professionals and ensuring their alignment with ongoing developments in Dubai’s judicial system.
H.E. was accompanied by H.E. Dr. Abdullah Saif Al Sabousi, Secretary General of the Dubai Judicial Council, and received by H.E. Judge
Dr. Ebtessam Ali Al Badwawi, Director General of the DJI.
Also present were H.E. Justice Issa Sharif, Chief Justice of the Court of Appeal; H.E. Justice Khalid Al Hosani, Chief Justice of the Courts
of First Instance; and H.E. Justice Abdul Latif Al Olama, Head of the Technical Office of the Court of Cassation.
The visit underscored the commitment of Dubai Courts and DJI to strengthening communication between judicial leadership and trainees
while nurturing national talent and promoting professional development. It also reflected their shared goal of qualifying and training Emirati
judicial professionals according to the highest international standards of integrity, efficiency, and excellence.
Commitment To Judicial Excellence
Commenting on the visit, H.E. Judge Abdulqader Mousa Mohammed said:
“During this meeting, we focused on the crucial role of trainees within the justice system. It reinforces the directives and vision of the judicial
leadership, which emphasize upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Our trainees are the cornerstone of the
judiciary’s future, ensuring continued delivery of quality judicial services. This interaction also gave trainees the opportunity to raise inquiries
and discuss challenges, benefiting from the guidance and experience of judicial leaders.”
Meanwhile, H.E. Judge Dr. Ebtessam Ali Al Badwawi expressed appreciation for the visit, stating:
“We highly value the visit of H.E. Judge Abdulqader Mousa Mohammed, which reflects the leadership’s interest in nurturing national talent
and empowering them to fulfil their noble duty of upholding justice. At DJI, we are committed to preparing qualified national judicial
