The Variable Parking Tariff Policy will be implemented by the end of March 2025, introducing distinct
rates for different parking zones and times:
• Standard Parking Fees: Premium parking spaces will cost Dh6 per hour during peak hours (8am–
10am and 4pm–8pm), while other public parking areas will charge AED 4 per hour. Off-peak hours
(10am–4pm and 8pm–10pm) will maintain the same rates, with free parking from 10pm to 8am
and all day on Sundays.
• Event-Specific Congestion Pricing: A new policy targeting event areas will impose AED 25 per hour
for parking near venues during major events. The rollout begins in February 2025 around the Dubai
World Trade Centre.
