Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, has revealed ambitious plans for the
establishment of a new university in the emirate, bolstered by a generous Dh400 million
donation from Sobha Realty. The landmark initiative forms part of the Mothers’ Endowment
Initiative, spearheaded by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and
Ruler of Dubai.

In a significant development, Sheikh Hamdan announced the signing of an agreement to
commence the construction of the new university, marking a substantial milestone in Dubai’s
educational landscape. Expressing gratitude to PNC Menon, the founder of Sobha Realty, for
his invaluable support, Sheikh Hamdan underscored the importance of the initiative in
advancing the educational sector in the region.

The university, funded by Sobha Realty’s generous donation, aims to adhere to the highest
international standards in education, ensuring a world-class learning environment for students.
Emphasizing the significance of the charitable grant agreement, Mohammad Al Gergawi,
Minister of Cabinet Affairs, hailed the initiative as a crucial step towards realizing the objectives
of the Mothers’ Endowment campaign.

The Mothers’ Endowment Initiative, launched under the auspices of the Mohammed bin Rashid
Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, seeks to address the educational needs of millions of individuals
from underprivileged backgrounds worldwide. By providing essential educational resources,
implementing social programs, and facilitating the establishment of schools equipped with
necessary supplies, the initiative aims to foster widespread access to quality education.

In a statement underscoring the transformative power of knowledge, Sheikh Mohammed bin
