Ajman Tourism Development Department Signs

Sponsorship Agreement With Etihad Water And

Electricity

The Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) has entered into a strategic sponsorship

agreement with Etihad Water and Electricity (EtihadWE) to strengthen collaboration in sponsoring
community and tourism events across the emirate. This partnership aims to enhance Ajman’s profile
as a leading tourist destination by organizing various sports, tourism, and community activities that will
attract both residents and visitors.

The agreement emphasizes the importance of coordination between the two entities, fostering

knowledge exchange, and leveraging collective resources for the successful execution of these
events. Additionally, EtihadWE will utilize this platform to showcase its services and initiatives that
benefit both the local community and tourists, expanding its institutional presence.

H.E. Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of the Ajman Tourism Development Department,

and H.E. Yousif Ahmed Al Ali, CEO of Etihad Water and Electricity, signed the agreement, highlighting
the mutual benefits and the role of EtihadWE in supporting upcoming tourism and community events.

H.E. Alhashmi stated, “This strategic partnership aligns with our goal to position Ajman as a premier
tourist destination while promoting collaboration between government and private sectors to achieve
developmental goals.”

H.E. Yousif Ahmed Al Ali emphasized EtihadWE’s commitment to supporting initiatives that benefit the
community, adding, “We look forward to contributing to the success of various events organized by the
Ajman Tourism Development Department, promoting growth and community engagement.”

The agreement also provides a framework for EtihadWE to actively participate in the planned activities

while ensuring national coverage of the events through its promotional channels.
