The strategic agreement was formalized by Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman

University, and Rafia Al Abbar, Senior Vice President and Head of Human

Resources at DIB. It represents a mutual dedication to bridging the gap between

academia and industry by preparing career-ready graduates equipped with both

technical expertise and practical experience.

As part of the MoU, DIB will provide internship and employment opportunities to

Emirati students and graduates from AU. The bank will also open its doors to

immersive learning experiences, including site visits, industry-led workshops, and

mentorship sessions led by senior executives, offering students valuable insights

into the Islamic banking and financial services sector.

In addition, DIB will play an active role in sustaining AU’s career development

programs and serve as a strategic industry partner in guiding students’ early

professional journeys. In return, Ajman University will offer exclusive educational

benefits to DIB employees and their families, including tailor-made training

workshops focused on leadership development and professional skills

enhancement.
