Held at Atlantis The Palm, Dubai, the Microsoft AI Tour 2025 highlighted the significant
role of AI in transforming industries across the UAE. The event was a testament to
Microsoft’s leadership in AI and reinforced the importance of local tech communities
and influencers in driving AI adoption.
Several AI-powered solutions were presented at the event, demonstrating the impact AI
is having across different industries. First Abu Dhabi Bank showcased its AI-driven
wealth advisory tool, which enhances investment insights for clients. The Abu Dhabi
Department of Government Enablement presented its TAMM platform, which
streamlines digital government services for residents and businesses. Alef
Education highlighted its AI-driven learning solutions, which have significantly improved
student outcomes globally.
Charles Lamanna, Corporate VP of Business & Industry Copilot at Microsoft,
acknowledged the remarkable pace of AI adoption in the UAE. He emphasized how
organizations in both the public and private sectors are not only integrating AI but are
also developing their own AI-powered applications to drive innovation and efficiency.
Azure MVP, Mahmoud A. ATALLAH based in Abu Dahbi, UAE also provided valuable AI
skilling sessions for the local attendees. A standout session was 'Building Your Own
Copilot with Azure AI Studio' and he left the audiences valuable strategies for leveraging
AI Studio to develop custom AI solutions.
