The security expert is pursuing the strategy of further expanding
customer partnerships. The Hima China Zhanjiang Service
Center was opened to offer even better service to customers in
southeast China and in particular to the new BASF Verbund site
in Zhanjiang, where Hima security solutions are used. "By using
the latest digital solutions and applying the highest security
standards, Hima is supporting BASF at this site, which is
intended to become a model for intelligent and sustainable
production," reports a press release.

"The opening of the new service center is another important
milestone for the Hima Group and follows the strategy to further
expand our customer partnerships and support first-class security
solutions close to our customers," says Jörg de la Motte, CEO of
the Hima Group.

"The digital tools provided by Hima in combination with a jointly
developed security concept are the basis for the effective
implementation of a security management system that complies
with national Chinese and international security standards," the
statement continues.

"This new service center will provide our customers with the best
lifecycle services. The BASF Verbund site in Zhanjiang will be the
main focus of this service center, but will also cover the service
needs from southeast China," emphasized Yao Zhou, Managing
Director of Hima China.

The opening ceremony was opened by Peter Sieber, Vice
President of Strategic Marketing at the Hima Group and former
Managing Director of ima China. "I am pleased that Hima China
is expanding its business in solid steps. The opening of the
Zhanjiang Service Center is another important milestone in the
development of Hima in China," commented P. Sieber.
