The Middle East remains one of HIMA’s fastest-growing regions. Demand comes from oil and gas,
energy transition, petrochemicals, rail, and critical infrastructure projects.

Leadership background and experience

Dr. Trottier brings more than 30 years of experience in business leadership, innovation, and global
project delivery. His background includes senior roles across the Gulf region within a German
family-owned enterprise.

HIMA said his technical expertise and regional experience position him to lead the next phase of
growth. In a statement, Dr. Trottier said he aims to build on the company’s record in industrial
safety automation and critical infrastructure protection.

HIMA Group CEO Jörg de la Motte said the Middle East is a pivotal market due to strong demand
for advanced safety solutions. He said Dr. Trottier’s understanding of the region aligns with the
company’s customer-focused growth strategy.
