This Raffles penthouse might be the most expensive one but it’s not the first super-
luxury home to shake up Dubai’s real estate market with its pricetag. In 2022, Indian
billionaire Mukesh Ambani splurged an eye-watering AED 598 million on a villa in
Palm Jumeirah.

Just last February an AED-410-million penthouse in Jumeirah Bay island’s Bulgari
Lighthouse exchanged hands. That was followed by an under-construction penthouse
in the Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab Hotel, also in Palm Jumeirah, which sold for a record-
breaking AED 420 million. A record that the Raffles penthouse is aiming to topple.
