A three-story super penthouse with more than 77,000 square feet at Raffles the Palm
Dubai Residences has listed for AED 600 million (US$164 million).
Located on Palm Jumeirah, the penthouse is the largest private residence “in Dubai’s
real estate history,” according to a news release Wednesday from Emerald Palace
Group, which owns the Raffles the Palm Dubai. At that size, the apartment is larger than
the entire White House, home to the U.S. president.
“Transcending the ordinary, this remarkable penthouse seeks to provide an exceptional
lifestyle that seamlessly combines elegance, convenience and practicality,” Seran
Gheorghe, vice president of EPG and director of sales for Raffles the Palm Dubai
Residences, said in a statement.
Designed in collaboration with Miami-based architectural firm YoDezeen, the penthouse
is set to feature “a contemporary design with a dash of modernity and elegance,” the
listing said.
A private elevator whisks guests and residents to the Grand Salon on the first level of
the triplex, which offers a large sitting room with access to the terrace and views of the
Arabian Gulf and Dubai skyline. There’s also a dining area with a table big enough for
20 guests and a kitchen with Teppanyaki cooking surfaces.
Other amenities of the residence include a private gym, a spa and wellness area with a
cryogenic room, a hay relaxation room—which uses the freshly cut material to promote
relaxation—a cigar lounge and a bar offering 360-degree views.
Outside, there’s a bar and barbecue area, minigolf within a meditation garden,
indoor/outdoor cinema lounge and a basketball court. There are also 10 parking places.
The penthouse is expected to be ready about 15 months after going into contract.
Luxury residential sales in Dubai had a banner year in 2023, and is on track to continue
this year. The super penthouse aims to take advantage of the city’s explosive growth,
Gheorghe noted.
“Our listing of this exceptional super-penthouse holds special significance, considering
Dubai’s recent central positioning in the global real estate market and a growing
demand for luxury properties by numerous ultra-high-net-worth individuals,” he said.
“We firmly believe that the sale of this lavish residence would mark another significant
milestone in the history of Dubai real estate.”
