Dubai launches new child protection

framework to safeguard kids, youth

The initiative aligns with the Dubai Social Agenda 33, launched by

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and

Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, under the theme

‘Family: The Foundation of Our Nation’

Dubai has launched the Dubai Child Protection Framework, a new initiative to enhance

child welfare and boost family wellbeing across the city.

The framework, approved in February by The Executive Council of Dubai, chaired by Sheikh

Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime
Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, aims to create safer communities with child-

centred welfare at its core.
