Ladies-only days increased at Al

Mamzar Beach Park

As per the new decision, the Al Mamzar Beach Park will dedicate Mondays and
Wednesdays exclusively for women and children.

Dubai: Men and boys above four will not be allowed entry at Dubai’s Al Mamzar Beach
Park two days a week from next week as the Dubai Municipality has increased the
number of “ladies-only day” there.

The move comes days after the closure of the beach along the Jumeirah Beach Park,

the only other public beach which had dedicated two days a week exclusively for
women and children. Earlier this week, the Municipality had suspended the ladies-only
days at the Jumeirah Beach Park after the beachfront along the park was closed to
pave way for the construction of the Dubai Canal project.

Today, (On Thursday), the civic body announced that it is increasing the number of

women-only days at Al Mamzar Beach Park from one to two days a week due to public
demand.
