KFED honors top teams at 8th Venturist Summer Camp

Abu Dhabi: The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development (KFED) has concluded the eighth edition of
its Venturist Summer Camp by honoring the top three teams for their exceptional creativity and
technical skills in game development.
Held at the 42 Abu Dhabi headquarters, the camp brought together 50 Emirati students as part of
KFED’s mission to nurture entrepreneurial thinking and build future-ready talent. The week-long
program offered participants aged 13 to 18 immersive training in programming and game
development through two tailored pathways.
The first, aimed at 13 to 15-year-olds, focused on foundational skills in programming and game design.
The second, for students aged 16 to 18, delved into advanced game development with emphasis on
cutting-edge technologies and AI integration.
Throughout the camp, students engaged in collaborative exercises, peer critiques, and hands-on
programming, including the use of large language models (LLMs) and LUA scripting. Industry experts
