Participants who successfully complete the Piscine will qualify for enrollment in 42 Abu Dhabi’s accredited Diploma in
Software Development program. This program—delivered full-time at the institution’s Abu Dhabi campus—aims to equip
students with applicable, industry-ready skills that will engage the evolving demands of the tech landscape. Additionally,
Emirati entrepreneurs emerging from the Piscine who wish to launch their startups will have the opportunity to access support
from KFED, providing a robust framework for business development.
Her Excellency Mouza Al Nasri, CEO of Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, expressed her enthusiasm about the
initiative, stating, “This collaboration between Khalifa Fund and 42 Abu Dhabi represents a pivotal step in nurturing a culture of
innovation and entrepreneurship in Al Ain. By combining 42 Abu Dhabi’s groundbreaking approach to coding education with
Khalifa Fund’s comprehensive support for startups, we aim to empower individuals with the requisite skills and resources to
transform ideas into impactful ventures.”
The collaboration is poised to produce a wide array of initiatives designed to elevate talent and facilitate venture creation. This
will encompass developing a seamless pipeline from talent to startup, providing pathways for internships and employment, and
co-hosting community engagement activities such as networking mixers and demo days. Joint mentorship and training programs
will further enhance participants’ capabilities, equipping them with tools essential for translating innovative concepts into
tangible outcomes.
Dr. Ahmed Al Shoaibi, Acting CEO of 42 Abu Dhabi, remarked on the significance of this partnership, stating, “Our partnership
with Khalifa Fund to bring the first-ever Piscine to the Al Ain Region is a powerful step toward widening access to innovative
coding education and entrepreneurship skills.” He emphasized that the bootcamp would not only help participants acquire
valuable coding skills but also cultivate the entrepreneurial mindset necessary to create substantive impact within their
communities.
