The new phase will expand to cover all 548 public and private schools benefiting

from Alef, including 173 in Abu Dhabi and 375 across other emirates, targeting

180,000 students in Abu Dhabi and 300,000 nationwide.

The initiative also aims to train 6,000 teachers in Abu Dhabi and 13,000 across the

UAE, along with school administrators and safety officers, to reinforce sustainable

preventive awareness in the educational environment.

Bader is the first initiative of its kind globally, offering an integrated safety

curriculum from kindergarten through grade 12. The bilingual, interactive program

progressively covers essential topics such as evacuation and alarms, first aid, fire

safety, hazardous chemicals, and individual social responsibility. New lessons will be

added annually, with each educational stage reaching a total of 13 lessons by 2029.

The project serves as a pioneering national model for cultivating a safety culture

through education, supporting efforts to build a knowledgeable and capable

generation that can protect themselves and their communities, while promoting

sustainable community development.

During the first phase, 357 out of 372 schools nationwide participated, benefiting

nearly 59,000 students. More than 36,000 students completed the program in full,

representing 96 percent of the targeted schools.
