Right now, the toll fee stands at AED 4 each time you drive through a Salik toll gate. However, that could
be changing soon. The RTA has hinted that they may implement “Dynamic Pricing,” which means that toll
rates could vary depending on the time of day. For example, you might end up paying more during peak
hours or for using specific lanes that are in high demand.

What Is Dynamic Pricing?

The concept of dynamic pricing is not new. Many major cities around the world already use this system to
