The Dubai Judicial Institute (DJI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Egypt’s
National Center for Judicial Studies, reinforcing efforts to strengthen regional partnerships and
promote the exchange of expertise in line with global best practices.

The agreement was formalised in the presence of H.E. Judge Dr Ebtisam Ali Al Bedwawi, Director
General of DJI, H.E. Counsellor Dr Magdy Salama Diab, Assistant Minister of Justice for the
National Center for Judicial Studies, and senior representatives from both institutions.

Under the MoU, the two sides will enhance cooperation through training programmes, research
studies, joint events and knowledge-sharing initiatives, with a focus on emerging legal challenges.
The agreement also highlights the importance of digital training to develop a flexible judicial
environment capable of adapting to rapid change.

Judge Al Bedwawi emphasised that the partnership reflects DJI’s priority of deepening institutional
ties with regional counterparts, noting that it opens the door for sustainable initiatives that will
advance judicial excellence in the Arab world.

The MoU underscores both parties’ commitment to building a lasting strategic partnership that
consolidates justice, strengthens legal capabilities, and promotes innovation in the judicial system,
aligning with Dubai’s vision for a modern and dynamic justice framework.
