Al Rawdah Special Economic Zone agreement signed

During his official visit to Oman, Sheikh Hamdan also met with the Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs
and the Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs. He also met with His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin
Haitham Tariq Al Said, Oman’s Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth at Al Bustan Palace in the capital,
Muscat.

Sheikh Hamdan also attended the signing of an agreement to develop and operate the first phase of the Al
Rawdah Special Economic Zone in the Wilayat of Mahadha, Al Buraimi Governorate — a key milestone in
advancing the UAE and Oman’s economic partnership and collaboration.

“We deeply value the longstanding ties that bind us with our brothers in Oman and are committed to further
enhancing them across all sectors to serve the shared interests of both nations and their peoples. Our ties with
Oman are rooted in shared geography, history and lasting brotherhood. We wish the Sultanate and its people
continued prosperity and well-being,” he stated.
