       Sheikh Hamdan mentioned that the economic relationship between the UAE and Oman is already strong and still growing. Oman is the UAE’s
       second-biggest trading partner among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. In 2024, the non-oil trade between the two countries went
       above AED 56.1 billion, which is a 9.8% increase from 2023. Sheikh Hamdan said he believes this number will grow even more in the future,
       especially because both countries have a lot to offer in tourism and trade.
       Many other important leaders from the UAE joined the meeting, including Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy
       Ruler of Dubai; Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Emirates Airline and Group; and Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al
       Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.
       Sayyid Fahd welcomed Sheikh Hamdan and the rest of the UAE team warmly. He said this visit shows how close the relationship is between the
       UAE and Oman. He also said that both countries are looking to grow together in many ways and support each other’s development.
       The two sides also spoke about important events happening in the region and the wider world. They discussed how both nations can help bring
       peace and safety to the Middle East and continue to support stability in the area.
       Other top officials from the UAE who attended the meeting included Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; Sheikh
       Salem bin Khalid Al Qassimi, Minister of Culture; Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade; Omar Sultan Al Olama,
       Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence; Maryam bint Ahmed Al Hammadi, Minister of State; Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai
       Chambers; Abdullah Al  Basti,  Secretary General  of The  Executive Council  of  Dubai;  Lieutenant General Talal Belhoul Al  Falasi,  President  of
       Dubai’s State Security Department; Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism; and Sultan Ahmed bin
       Sulayem, Chairman and CEO of DP World.
       This visit is expected to further boost the relationship between the UAE and Oman and lead to new partnerships that help both countries grow and
       succeed together.
