Challenge Program’ at its centres in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra region, which attracted over 2,800
women participants. The program featured a series of 145 workshops during 2024.
The program was held in line with FDF’s constant dedication to boost women’s health and fitness, as
well as the welfare of families as a whole.
Khawla Al Mehairi, Head of the Women Empowerment Department at FDF, commented that the "100
Days Sports Challenge Program" reflects the foundation’s commitment to empowering women aged 19
to 50, helping them develop their abilities in a balanced manner and enhancing their leadership roles
within their families and communities. Furthermore, she emphasized the program's importance in
encouraging women to participate in sports activities, which boost both their physical and psychological
fitness while reducing the risk of obesity. The program also aims to enhance their mental well-being,
positively impacting their familial and societal relationships.
In addition, Al Mehairi underscored the key objective of the ‘Building Women’s Skills and Abilities’
service, which aims to encourage women to actively participate in social and economic spheres through
various programs, such as the 100 Days Sports Challenge Program and Excellence in Entrepreneurship
Workshop. She further pointed out that these initiatives are designed to boost women’s competencies
and foster their advancement in the realms of sports, health and education. It also seeks to support
women in the entrepreneurship field by enabling them to attain maximum financial independence that
positively impacts their families and the broader society. These initiatives also bolster women’s
               substantial role in community advancement.
