Operating profit climbed to AED 240.7 million from AED 161.8 million, while cash reserves reached AED 494.2
million, giving the developer its strongest liquidity position in several years.
The company also reported net profit of AED 462 million, up 67 per cent year-on-year, supported by stronger
operations and the balance-sheet restructuring completed in recent periods.
Chief executive Amer Khansaheb said the dividend approval marks the beginning of a new phase for the
business, with management aiming to maintain financial discipline while building sustainable long-term returns
for shareholders.
“The approval of the dividend reflects the progress made over recent years,” Khansaheb said, according to the
company statement, adding that Union Properties is entering a new stage of growth.
As part of that next phase, the developer is preparing a 15-year “rapid growth” strategy designed to diversify
revenue streams and increase recurring income across its existing operations and new business segments.
Shareholders also elected a new board of directors for a three-year term. The new board includes Shaikh
Nasser Rashid Almoalla, Mohamed Fardan Al Fardan, Amer Abdulaziz Khansaheb, Ahmed Salem Alhosani,
Ahmad Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, Khaled Nasser Al Shamsi and Rana Abdelkarim Shashaa.
