Majra – National CSR Fund successfully hosted the ‘Impact Lab’, a high-profile workshop bringing together government
leaders, private sector executives, and sustainability experts to explore CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and sustainability
opportunities in the UAE.
Held at the Dubai Future Accelerators, the workshop served as a strategic platform to integrate CSR and sustainability into
corporate strategies, encouraging businesses to adopt global best practices.
UAE’s Commitment To CSR And Sustainability
His Excellency Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Chairman of Majra’s Board of Trustees, emphasized the
nation's dedication to embedding CSR principles within its economic framework:
“The UAE is at the forefront of CSR and sustainability efforts, empowering and incentivizing business leaders to actively
contribute. These initiatives not only secure the future of industries but also drive sustainable social and economic development
across the UAE.”
Collaborative Strategies For A Sustainable Future
The ‘Impact Lab’ focused on co-designing a framework of financial and non-financial enablers to encourage private sector
companies to adopt CSR-driven and sustainable business practices. Key discussions covered:
Developing comprehensive CSR enablers to support businesses.
Creating qualification criteria for companies adopting sustainable practices.
Designing a strategic roadmap aligned with UAE’s sustainability goals.
