The core objective of the Summit remains the strengthening of economic and tourism
cooperation between the UAE and African nations, with a primary focus on expanding joint
investment opportunities across the tourism value chain. Discussions emphasise the
enhancement of bilateral relations, the scaling of sustainable tourism strategies, and the
acceleration of infrastructure development that supports long-term investment partnerships. By
spotlighting the rising tourism potential of African destinations, the Summit also reinforces the
UAE’s position as a strategic partner in tourism development throughout the continent.
Participation at the UAE-Africa Tourism Investment Summit exceeds 350 delegates, establishing
the event as a key platform for high-level dialogue and knowledge exchange. Leaders, government
officials, ministers, investors, and entrepreneurs from the UAE and 53 African countries are taking
part in the discussions. The program focuses on priority areas that include investment in tourism-
related projects, financing mechanisms for tourism growth, hospitality sector expansion,
innovation in tourism services, infrastructure development, and sustainability practices.
The Summit is offering a crucial opportunity to strengthen future partnerships and develop
innovative business models across multiple tourism sectors. Its outcomes aim to advance best
practices and support the long-term transformation of tourism markets in both regions, with
sustainability and economic resilience at the forefront.
