        More than 350 participants are attending the summit, including leaders, senior government officials,
        ministers, decision-makers, investors and entrepreneurs from the UAE and 53 African countries. The
        event serves as a significant avenue for dialogue, sharing expertise and best practices, and enhancing
        future partnership opportunities across various tourism sectors.


        The UAE-Africa Tourism Investment Summit 2025 underscores the UAE’s leadership in shaping global
        tourism and promoting sustainable, inclusive growth. Focusing on key areas of mutual interest, the
        summit addresses vital themes such as investment in tourism-related projects, financing, infrastructure,
        hospitality, innovative tourism services and sustainable development.




        Six expert-led panel discussions to discuss core themes


        The UAE-Africa Tourism Investment Summit 2025 will spotlight investment across high-impact tourism
        sectors, including infrastructure, hospitality, sustainable travel, financing and innovation.

        The agenda includes six expert-led panel discussions, exploring core themes such as: Public and private
        sector cooperation to expand tourism, infrastructure investment to boost sustainable development, global
        financing opportunities in the hospitality industry, private sector contributions to the future of African
        tourism, digital solutions and fintech for improved travel and logistics, and localized innovation and the
        role of advanced digital technologies in destination development


        Each session will explore how new technologies and strategic investment can support sustainable
        growth, enhance visitor experiences and improve regional connectivity across Africa.

        Ministerial roundtable to explore tourism’s role in driving inclusive

        economic growth


        A ministerial roundtable, held on the sidelines of the summit, will bring together His Excellency Abdulla
        bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and chairman of the Emirates Tourism Council, and over
        20 African ministers to explore tourism’s role in driving inclusive economic growth and sustainable
        development.

        The session will also showcase the UAE’s successful tourism model, which has attracted significant
        international investment and helped diversify the national economy.


        With the African tourism market growing by over 13 percent annually and attracting more than 74
        million international visitors, the continent represents a high-potential destination for UAE tourism
        investment and collaboration.


        The summit aims to harness this growth by fostering mutually beneficial partnerships, sharing expertise,
        and promoting innovation across borders. The UAE-Africa Tourism Investment Summit 2025 will mark
        a significant step in aligning two dynamic regions around shared economic and tourism ambitions,
        advancing a vision of sustainable prosperity powered by cooperation, innovation, and investment.
