10/17/25, 9:40 AM UAE-Africa Tourism Investment Summit 2025 to Strengthen Cross-Continental Partnerships for Sustainable Growth - GCC BUSIN…
Held under the theme “Building Bridges for Sustainable Growth,” the summit is part of the Future Hospitality
Summit (FHS World 2025), organized by The Bench, and aims to enhance cooperation and strengthen
investment ties between the UAE and Africa’s growing tourism economies.

The event will be attended by H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism and Chairman
of the Emirates Tourism Council, along with over 350 participants, including ministers, senior government
officials, investors, and entrepreneurs from the UAE and 53 African countries.

The summit serves as a strategic platform to foster dialogue, exchange best practices, and unlock new

opportunities in tourism infrastructure, hospitality, digital innovation, and sustainable tourism development. It
reinforces the UAE’s position as a global leader in tourism investment, while supporting Africa’s growing role as
one of the world’s fastest-developing tourism markets.

The discussions will span six key panel sessions, covering critical themes such as enhancing investment in
tourism infrastructure, boosting cooperation between public and private sectors, and exploring new financing

and development models in hospitality. Participants will also explore how digital transformation, fintech
solutions, and improved logistical connectivity can advance sustainable travel and enrich visitor experiences
        across the continent.

On the sidelines of the summit, a high-level ministerial roundtable chaired by H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri

will gather over 20 African tourism ministers to explore collaborative frameworks that drive economic
diversification, sustainability, and shared prosperity through tourism.

Africa, currently one of the fastest-growing tourism markets globally, attracts more than 74 million international
visitors annually, with its hospitality sector growing at an impressive 13% per year. This positions the continent

as a promising destination for UAE investments, particularly in sustainable tourism and hospitality
        infrastructure.

The UAE-Africa Tourism Investment Summit 2025 will thus stand as a vital bridge connecting two dynamic
regions, advancing sustainable development, and building a resilient tourism future grounded in innovation and

        partnership.
