Programme To Train 10,000 Emiratis

The Ministry of Economy and Tourism, in collaboration with the New Economy Academy and Ignyte, has launched

the Entrepreneurship Programme to equip 10,000 Emiratis with the skills to build and scale successful ventures.

Part of the national campaign The Emirates: The Startup Capital of the World—initiated by His Highness Sheikh
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum—the programme aims to strengthen the UAE’s position as a global hub for

entrepreneurship and innovation.

Announced at a press conference in Dubai, the initiative features two tracks: a three-day Essentials of

Entrepreneurship course and a six-day Complete Entrepreneurship masterclass. The courses combine theoretical
learning with practical training, covering everything from idea generation and market analysis to business model
development and global expansion strategies.

Abdulla Ahmed Al Saleh, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, said the programme
reflects the UAE leadership’s vision to create a sustainable and competitive economy driven by innovation.
