Seoul strengthens bilateral trade, investment

Today saw the conclusion of the UAE-Korea Business and Investment Forum, held in
Seoul, Korea, on the sidelines of the official visit of President His Highness Sheikh

Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the Republic of Korea, heading a high-level UAE
delegation.

In the presence of Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade,
an economic delegation of Emirati public- and private-sector representatives attended the
UAE-Korea Business and Investment Forum. Organised by the UAE’s Ministries of

Investment and Economy, in collaboration with the UAE Embassy in Seoul and Korea’s
Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Forum sought to expand the two nations’ trade

and commercial relations in high-growth sectors such as energy, ICT, logistics and
manufacturing.
Dr. Al Zeyoudi said that economic ties between the UAE and the Republic of Korea are

witnessing robust growth across all major sectors owing to the joint will of the leaderships
of both sides.

During his address to the Forum, Dr. Al Zeyoudi championed the potential of deeper ties
between the UAE and Korea, citing their shared vision for open, rules-based trade,
