UAE tourism jobs are projected to rise to 833,000 in 2024
Tourism accounted for 809,000 jobs in the UAE last year, equivalent to 12.3% of national employment, and

The UAE’s tourism sector is expected to reach 12 percent of GDP this year, the country’s
economy minister said.
His comments came during a speech at the Arabian Travel Market, Dubai’s largest
tourism and hospitality exhibition which kicked off on Monday and is expected to run
until May 12.
