        The UAE and Iran have explored ways to expand economic cooperation in sectors such as
        tourism, transport, entrepreneurship and renewable energy.



        The talks were held in Abu Dhabi during the first session of the Joint Economic Committee

        (JEC), chaired by Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy, and Mehrdad Bazrpash,
        Iran's Minister of Road and Urban Development.



        The meeting discussed new mechanisms to enhance trade exchanges and the key role played by

        the private sector in promoting economic cooperation.
