Dr. Hany Torky from UNDP highlighted updates to this year’s Global Knowledge Index (GKI). He explained that

improvements have been made to enhance accuracy and cross-country comparisons by refining indicators and adding

new criteria sets. These updates aim to assess sectors like education, research and development, and ESG more
effectively.

The Summit agenda promises an immersive experience through specialised halls reflecting diverse themes. Saif Al
Mansouri, Head of Knowledge Summit Committee, noted that the ‘Main Hall’ will be central for global discussions. The

‘Sustainable Communities’ Hall will focus on how knowledge transforms society, while the ‘Global Knowledge Index’ Hall

will provide insights into national performances in education and innovation.

An impressive lineup of 130 speakers will engage in over 45 panel discussions during the Summit. These sessions will
bring together government officials, international experts, and leaders from business and development sectors. Topics such
