Red Hat has been named a Leader for the third year in a row in the 2025 Gartner
Magic Quadrant for Container Management.

The company said the recognition reflects the role of Red Hat OpenShift in
supporting enterprise container strategies across hybrid cloud environments.

CONSISTENCY ACROSS ENVIRONMENTS

Red Hat OpenShift is a Kubernetes-based hybrid cloud application platform
designed to standardise, automate and scale container workloads from datacentres to
cloud and edge locations.

The platform includes integrated security, management tools and features aimed at
improving developer productivity. Red Hat said these capabilities help IT teams
modernise applications and deliver outcomes more quickly.

Mike Barrett, Vice President and General Manager of Hybrid Cloud Platforms at
Red Hat, said the repeat recognition reinforced OpenShift’s role in enterprise IT
strategies.
“We believe being recognised as a Leader for the third consecutive year in the
Gartner Magic Quadrant for Container Management validates Red Hat OpenShift’s
role as a cornerstone for modern IT strategies,” Barrett said.
