        SLC Secretary General highlights UAE’s commitment to rule of law

        on World Law Day 2025


        His Excellency Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar Al Muhairi, Secretary General of the Supreme Legislation Committee (SLC) in the Emirate of Dubai,
        issued a statement on the occasion of World Law Day 2025, emphasizing the pivotal role of law in upholding justice, regulating relationships,
        and driving sustainable development.

        H.E. Al Muhairi highlighted that law serves as the definitive reference for resolving disputes, ensuring fairness, and shaping economic and
        social development strategies. He noted that strong legislative frameworks are also vital in enhancing nations’ competitiveness, strengthening
        leadership, and attracting global business and investment.
        Reflecting on the UAE’s journey since its establishment, he underscored that the rule of law has been a cornerstone of the country’s progress.
        The UAE has continuously developed flexible and inclusive legislative systems that encourage innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship
        while supporting economic diversification and sustainability.

        On this occasion, the SLC extended its appreciation to members of the legal, justice, and legislative sectors across the nation. The
        Committee reaffirmed its commitment to advancing legislative awareness, promoting a deeper understanding of the objectives behind the
        UAE’s legal frameworks, and nurturing a culture of compliance, all of which contribute to the nation’s ongoing prosperity and global standing.
