According to FDF, marital silence is a common issue where couples face a lack of communication,

which negatively impacts their relationship and family stability.

This issue often stems from factors such as misunderstandings, anger, trust issues, stress, or
depression. It can lead to emotional distance between spouses and harm the well-being of the entire

family, particularly children.

To address marital silence, FDF recommends identifying its root causes, fostering open

communication, practicing active listening, and establishing shared routines to rebuild connections.

It also emphasises the importance of using positive, constructive language to express emotions and
seeking professional support when necessary.
