4/17/25, 1:18 PM Saudi Sadq Raises $1.5M to Lead Digital Signature Revolution
Building Legal Trust, Digitally
Founded in 2022 by Abdullah Allahuo and Salem Al-Badawi, Sadq offers an AI-
powered digital signature and authentication platform that complies with Saudi
national legal frameworks, including Article 58 of the Saudi Evidence Law. The
platform caters to both government entities and private-sector businesses, providing
legally recognized e-signatures and workflow authentication tools.
Sadq’s major breakthrough came in 2023 when it received the Digital Trust Services
License from the Digital Government Authority (DGA), validating its legitimacy and
enabling it to service contracts, documents, and digital workflows across sectors.
“This investment comes at a pivotal time as Saudi Arabia witnesses a transformative
shift in the digital trust landscape,” said Abdullah Allahuo, Co-Founder and CEO of
Sadq. “We’re not just digitizing signatures—we’re embedding legal weight and trust
into every digital transaction.”
Strategic Backing from Unifonic
The round was spearheaded by X by Unifonic Fund, a B2B SaaS-focused venture
arm launched by the Saudi cloud communications giant Unifonic, with Unifonic itself
participating strategically. This synergy is designed to deepen the integration between
communication infrastructure and secure digital verification.
“Sadq is uniquely positioned to lead the digital trust ecosystem in Saudi Arabia,” said
Ayman Hamdan, Founding Partner of X by Unifonic Fund. “We’re backing a platform
that can redefine how institutions manage authentication and digital identity at scale.”
