The Health and Safety Week, which will take place from April 29 to May 2, 2024, will
feature talk sessions on the impact of climate change on occupational health and
safety, and provide insights into the future of occupational health and safety. It will
also include presentations on best health and safety practices, as well as workshops
exploring first aid methods and critical risks that could impact workplace safety.
An accompanying exhibition will feature specialized health and safety companies
offering medical examinations to employees, while workers’ awareness workshops
will raise awareness on mandatory safety procedures and workers’ rights.
Representatives from key government organisations such as the International Labour
Organization (OSH), the Dubai Health Authority, the Ports, Customs and Free Zone
Corporation, Drydocks World, the Permanent Committee of Labor Affair in Dubai, and
Dubai Ambulance will be taking part in the event. Private entities like SaveFast Fire
and Safety LLC, SaveFast Training Academy, SERCO, Al Maya Group, PRIME
Hospital, Al Borg Medical Laboratories, 7 Dental, Sabz international, and Rubicon
Exotic, will also be participating.
