Dur ing the meet ing, they fol lowed up on the recent devel op ments in the eld of skill devel op -
ment and on grant ing the train ing licenses to the Min istry, on which the agree ment was
signed. Addi tion ally, the del eg a tion gave a present a tion on the “Arab Innov a tion Forum,”
MBRF’S com pre hens ive Arab pla form, which con venes experts, organ isa tions and entre pren -
eurs. The del eg a tion also invited the Min istry to atend the “Know ledge Youth Forum” in
Egypt and the 2024 Know ledge Sum mit, which will be organ ised in Dubai in Novem ber.
Moreover, Jamal bin Huwaireb, Shamsa Al Balooshi, Dr Khaled Abdel Fatah, and Salem Al
Owais, met Eng Abdul-sadiq Al-shorbagy, Head of the National Press Author ity of Egypt.
Com ment ing on the meet ing, Al-shorbagy high lighted the key ini tial step towards host ing
joint events focus ing on train ing and devel op ing the tech nical and pro fes sional skills of
Egyp tian journ al ists.
Fur ther more, he expressed his pleas ure at the poten tial of the visit in ensur ing fur ther
cooper at ive ini ti at ives in the future.
Addi tion ally, the del eg a tion also met Dr Ahmed Zayed, Dir ector of the Alex an dria Lib rary in
Egypt, dur ing which they explored pos sib il it ies of joint cooper a tion to enhance the know ledge
lib rary con tent to boost the youth’s tal ents and empower them for the future. Dur ing the visit,
the del eg a tion, in col lab or a tion with UNDP, presen ted the Found a tion’s exper i ence in
launch ing Digital Know ledge Hub, an open pla form, along with other projects, includ ing the
Global Know ledge Index and the Future Skills 4all.
Jamal Bin Huwaireb exten ded his appre ci ation for being a part of the meet ings, and emphas -
ised the key role of Egypt in pion eer ing the know ledge land scape in the region.
Fur ther more, he under pinned the sig ni c ance of joint cooper a tion with Egypt’s National
Press Author ity in activ at ing know ledge ini ti at ives in the eld of journ al ism.
The CEO added: “Our visit to Egypt comes as a part of our e orts to improve bilat eral ties
between both coun tries. In the future, we seek to fur ther strengthen coordin a tion and
cooper a tion with Egypt in vari ous elds of know ledge. We, at the Found a tion, aim to share
our exper i ences and expert ise with key Egyp tian insti tu tions to sup port our mutual goals of
devel op ing know ledge com munit ies among Egyp tian and Arab youth in gen eral. ”This recent
visit sig ni es the strength of cooper a tion and col lab or a tion between both coun tries, fur ther
exem pli fy ing the found a tion’s plans to con tinue their vis its to fol low up on joint know ledge
ini ti at ives. It under scores their goal to imple ment new devel op ment projects and pro -
grammes aimed at Egyp tian soci ety.
Recently, a del eg a tion of the MBRF had vis ited the headquar ters of the Islamic World Edu ca -
tional, Sci enti c, and Cul tural Organ isa tion (ICESCO) in Rabat, the cap ital of Morocco.
The MBRF and ICESCO dis cussed strategies to enhance bilat eral col lab or a tion.
