in the emirate. A notable aspect of this agreement is the allocation of a 10 - 15 percent quota for
projects to be sold through Emirati brokers, thereby fostering job opportunities in compliance
with existing labour laws.
Eng. Marwan bin Ghalita highlighted the alliance's significance in achieving the goals of the
Dubai Real Estate Brokers Programme. This programme is designed to augment citizen
participation in the real estate market, incentivising their involvement and thereby bolstering
their engagement in one of Dubai’s key economic sectors. He remarked on the dedication to
implementing the directives of Dubai's leadership, focusing on empowering citizens across
various fields as outlined in both the Dubai Social Agenda 2033 and the Dubai Economic
Agenda D33.
Furthermore, this agreement entails collaboration on joint projects aimed at advancing the real
estate sector while fostering a culture of innovation and sustainability. It also includes efforts to
provide guidance, professional training, and support for national talents. This initiative aims at
attracting them to the private sector and enhancing their specialised skills to establish their
businesses within the real estate market.
This strategic partnership not only signifies a step forward in enhancing the competitiveness and
capabilities of Emirati professionals within the real estate sector but also underscores DLD's
commitment to supporting national talents and contributing to Dubai’s economic growth. As
more partnerships with developers and real estate brokers materialise in future phases, this
initiative is poised to qualify more citizens for impactful roles in shaping Dubai's real estate
landscape.
