Dubai and Sobha Realty sign AED400m

deal for new university

MBRGI (Mohammed Bin Rashid Global Initiatives) and Sobha Realty has signed an agreement to
establish a AED 400 million funded university in Dubai.

This collaboration indicates a commitment to advancing education and human capital development
in the region.

The agreement was signed in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin
Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) and H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid
Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE.

The agreement forms part of the Mothers’ Endowment campaign, launched by His Highness Sheikh
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to honour
mothers by establishing an AED1 billion endowment fund to support the education of millions around
the world.

The campaign recognises the importance of education in helping individuals and communities, with a
special emphasis on mothers.
