The exciting competition saw the British trio, Issa Calvon, Paul Jones and Freddie Hay,
sweep the top three places. The winners were crowned by His Excellency Saeed
Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council; Nasser Jamal, representative of
Imtiaz Real Estate Development Company, one of the sponsors of the tournament, in
the presence of Nasser Aman Al Rahma, Assistant Secretary-General of the Dubai
Sports Council.

Issa Kalfon won the title after the daring maneuvers of the eight competitors amazed
thousands of fans who gathered alongside visitors to the Dubai International Yacht
Show, along with millions of viewers on international television networks after the
amazing spectacle of competitors launching into the air using specially designed suits
propelled by jet engines. The contestants' hands and backs are lined up.

The competitors represent various countries, including young Emirati gunner Ahmed Al
Shehhi, who underwent several weeks of specialized training in Great Britain to meet
the strict eligibility criteria set for competition participants.

His Excellency Hareb congratulated the winner, pointing out that the innovative
tournament strengthened Dubai’s position on the global sports scene and created
history. He also congratulated Al Shehhi, who engraved his name in the record books
as the first Emirati and Arab athlete to achieve this unique achievement of participating
in the competition that requires physical strength, superior aerial agility, and tremendous
skill combined with advanced technology.

His Excellency Hareb also congratulated all the other participants who claimed to be
pioneers of a sport that requires courage and high-level skill along with a true
synchronization of human capabilities and technological innovations.

The eight participants were divided into two groups for the preliminary rounds. Each
competitor had to maneuver through 12 traffic points placed along a 700-metre race
track. The top two teams from each group qualified for the semi-finals. The champion
was announced after an amazing final match.

The event was sponsored by several national and international companies based in
Dubai, including Imtiaz Real Estate Development Company, Mai Dubai, and Bukari
Sweet Company.
