welcoming 75.4 million passengers, a 5 per cent increase from the same period in 2024.

The UAE's civil aviation sector experienced significant growth in the first half of 2025, with airports
welcoming 75.4 million passengers, a 5 per cent increase from the same period in 2024.
January saw the highest number of passengers, exceeding 13.7 million.
UAE national carriers expanded globally, launching flights to 15 new destinations across Europe, Asia,
Africa, and the Middle East.
Air traffic in the UAE recorded 531,000 movements, a 6.2 per cent increase compared to the same
period last year.
