Statement by H.E. Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar, SLC Secretary General,

on UAE Innovation Month 2025

18 February 2025 - “UAE Innovation Month holds immense significance, reflecting the UAE’s

steadfast commitment to innovation as a cornerstone of progress and prosperity, as well as a key
driver of empowerment and forward thinking. This event serves as a powerful testament to the

dedication of our wise leadership, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan,
President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice

President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, to solidifying the UAE’s position as
a global hub for innovation and a catalyst for creative thinking.

Dubai is at the forefront of innovation, fostering a culture that empowers innovators and

cultivates an environment conducive to ambitious, forward-thinking ideas. In line with this
visionary approach, we at the Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai (SLC)

reaffirm our unwavering commitment to enhancing the efficiency of the legislative ecosystem to
drive creativity and innovation. As we celebrate the UAE’s largest national event dedicated to

innovation and innovators, we reiterate our pledge to support the UAE’s vision of becoming a
leading global hub for innovative minds and creative talent.”
