Why the Middle East is Critical for AI Expansion

transformation. With $320 billion projected in AI market growth by 2030 and strong
government-backed initiatives, the region is experiencing a technological shift like never
before.
Recognizing this potential, Microsoft kicked off its global AI Tour in Dubai on February
6, 2025, showcasing AI innovations that are already fueling economic progress across
the UAE. The event, hosted in partnership with Abu Dhabi-based tech firm G42,
underscored how AI is reshaping industries including finance, education, healthcare, and
energy.
