10. Safa Park Building
For years, Dubai residents headed to one park to host their gatherings — Safa Park.
Created in 1975 in the then outskirts of the emirate, Safa Park quickly became popular
among residents. The park later underwent renovations, with amenities, play areas and
washrooms added. In 2014, part of the park was demolished for the Canal project. To pay
homage to its place in the history of Dubai, the Safa Park building will also be preserved.
