Al Shiwayb was selected for this latest center after a thorough field study was

conducted to assess the needs of seniors in the area. The findings pointed to an

urgent requirement for a fully-equipped social club to address the unique needs of

the elderly population. The center was therefore established in alignment with the

goal of balanced service provision throughout the emirate.

Her Excellency Wafa Mohammed Al Ali, Director of the Family Development

Department at FDF, reiterated the foundation’s commitment to expanding its social

role through strategic partnerships with public and private institutions. These

collaborations aim to ensure that senior citizens and residents alike can access

programs and services that contribute to their well-being and active participation in

community life.
