The President reaffirmed that supporting the wellbeing of senior citizens is
both a national responsibility and a reflection of the values they instilled in
society.

The Barakatna initiative offers key services to support the wellbeing of
senior citizens and caregivers, including the Temporary Alternative Care
Service, which assists in cases where family members are unable to care for
their elderly relatives.
Other services include Home Improvements for Senior Citizens, aimed at
helping primary caregivers make necessary adjustments to their homes,
