Official operations will recommence on the 4th of Shawwal 1446 AH
The circular elaborated that if Ramadan concludes within 30 days, the 30th day of Ramadan will also be included in the Eid al-
Fitr holidays Dubai 1446 Hijri.

The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has released a circular regarding
the Eid al-Fitr holidays Dubai 1446 Hijri. This announcement details that all activities across
entities, departments, and institutions associated with the Dubai government will be paused from the
1st of Shawwal 1446 AH until the 3rd of Shawwal 1446 AH. Official operations will recommence
on the 4th of Shawwal 1446 AH. Additionally, the circular elaborated that if Ramadan concludes
within 30 days, the 30th day of Ramadan will also be included in the Eid al-Fitr holidays Dubai
1446 Hijri.
Staff exemptions and operational needs
Staff members from various entities, departments, and institutions who work on a shift basis or
those responsible for managing public facilities or delivering public services are excluded from this
circular. To maintain smooth operations during this holiday period, these entities must determine the
working hours for the exempt categories, aligning them with their operational requirements.
