The University Games feature 1,822 male and female athletes from 28 universities, competing in
football, basketball, and volleyball. The tournament is organized by the Abu Dhabi Entertainment
Company (ADEC), in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports, the UAE School and University Sports
Federation, and with support from Solution+ and MBME Group.
Competitive rounds and upcoming finals
The qualifiers began in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah, with intense competition in the preliminary
rounds, quarterfinals, and semifinals. The final matches will be held on April 19 and 20, followed by
an award ceremony to honor the winners and celebrate sports excellence.
